Storyline :-Richie Furst used to have a lucrative career on Wall Street; this history prevents him from receiving tuition assistance at Princeton, so he funds his master's degree by referring students to online gambling, for which he receives a cut. After the dean threatens to expel him for these activities, Richie tries to win his tuition using his excellent poker skills in online gambling, but he loses all his money to a cheater, something he is able to prove by statistics.

Richie goes to Costa Rica to confront Ivan Block, who runs the biggest empire of online gambling websites in the world, including the one Richie lost his money on. After Ivan sees the statistics, he finds coders have coded the software to allow them to cheat. After firing those involved, Ivan tells Richie he'll pay him millions per year for him to assist with the site work. Richie slowly begins a romantic relationship with Rebecca Shafran, Ivan's ex-love affair, and Ivan displays no objections to this. FBI agent Shavers kidnaps Richie and threatens to ruin his life in various ways if he does not assist in a conviction of Ivan Block. Shavers cannot do anything legally as he has no authority in Costa Rica, but he takes advantage of this to use tactics that would be illegal/unethical for law enforcement inside the United States. Ivan tells Richie that everyone in the organization ends up confronted by Shavers at some point.

Over time, Ivan's organization is revealed to be less than ethical. He sends Richie to bribe Costa Rica gaming director Herrera with too small of a payment, which leads to Richie being beaten. Ivan tells him it comes with the territory of such a wealthy career. Ivan throws Herrera into a lake of crocodiles, but pulls him out before he is eaten, though not before Herrera's bodyguard is killed. Ivan has Richie blackmail a gaming affiliate with videos of his infidelity to force him to sign with Ivan. Richie's friend Andrew Cronin, who works on the software design for Ivan, finds that Ivan is running a Ponzi scheme; the players' accounts have no actual money, and Ivan uses the money as his own bank account, keeping just enough to allow players to cash out when they need to. Cronin disappears and is later found nearly beaten to death. Fearing Richie might be having a change of heart, Ivan buys the massive poker debts of Richie's father and brings him to Costa Rica, using him as a hostage against Richie.

When Richie tries to leave the country, Shafers has drugs planted in his bag and offers to overlook it if Richie agrees to cooperate. A local police officer reveals that the police dislike Ivan but that he would buy his way out of any trouble and destroy whoever tried to take him down. Thanks to Rebecca betraying Ivan, Richie finds out that Ivan has been swindling him all along; Ivan is about to move his operations out of Costa Rica, and from the start he wanted to leave Richie behind as the fall guy. Richie gives out massive bribes to all local officials, including low-level police officers. When the movement day hits, Ivan calls to satirically apologize to Richie, telling him he'll be arrested, as Ivan flies away on a private jet.

When Ivan lands, he finds he has been betrayed: the bribed pilot has instead flown him to Puerto Rico, American territory. Shafers arrests him as Richie and Rebecca fly away on the private jet. Shafers says they're free to go because Richie left a flash drive with him containing sufficient evidence to convict Ivan.

Storyline :-Keller Dover (Hugh Jackman), a deeply religious man who runs a failing carpentry business, attends a Thanksgiving dinner with his family at the house of neighbor and family friends the Birches. The families' six year old daughters, Anna Dover and Joy Birch, go for a walk outside with their older siblings, Ralph Dover and Eliza Birch. The children have to be forcefully pulled away from a parked RV by their siblings when they start climbing on it. After dinner, the younger daughters leave to go back to Anna's house to get her safety whistle she is supposed to carry at all times, but they never come back. After a police hunt, the RV is found parked outside a gas station next to a wooded area. When Detective Loki (Jake Gyllenhaal), who heads the case, goes to confront the RV's driver, Alex Jones (Paul Dano), Alex panics, tries to speed away, and crashes into the trees.

Alex is taken in for questioning, but it is found that he has the IQ of a 10-year-old and rarely speaks. The RV shows no forensic evidence indicating the girls were forcibly taken into it, and Alex's low intelligence means he couldn't have covered up such evidence. Also, polygraph tests of him prove inconclusive due to his low IQ, and he repeatedly denies ever having seen the children. Detective Loki goes to see Alex's aunt, Holly Jones (Melissa Leo), who raised him with his uncle after his parents died when he was six. Alex's uncle left the home a couple years ago after a domestic dispute with his aunt. Alex spends most nights sleeping in the RV and does not have many things.

As the police are unable to find evidence against Alex, he is released in two days. Keller attacks him in a parking lot where he says Alex tells him, "They only cried when I left them." Though no one is close enough to hear this to corroborate, but he takes this as proof that Alex took the girls. That night, Keller abducts Alex at gunpoint while walking his dog, and imprisons him in an abandoned, run-down apartment building that his father owned. With the reluctant help of Joy's father, Franklin Birch (Terrence Howard), Keller repeatedly beats Alex for days for information. Overcome with guilt, Franklin tells his wife Nancy (Viola Davis) what they have done and brings her to see Alex. While talking to him, she unties Alex and he attempts to escape. This forces Keller to build a wall around a bath tub, where he locks Alex. It is devoid of light except for a small PVC tube talk-hole, and Keller is able to torture Alex with both scalding and freezing water. At this point, the Birches decide they cannot participate any longer, but they do not stop Keller. Detective Loki begins tailing Keller after hearing that Alex went missing, and eventually finds the apartment complex, though he does not discover Alex.

Over the days Alex is being tortured, Detective Loki trails other leads. While investigating sex offenders in the area, he discovers that Father Patrick Dunn has a long-dead body in his basement. Father Dunn claims that he did not know who the man was, but that in a confession the man bragged about killing sixteen children and also admitted to having a family despite. Father Dunn confesses that he convinced the man to come to his house, where he killed him to "save the children". Father Dunn is arrested for the crime. During a candlelight vigil for the missing girls, Detective Loki notices a man acting suspicious, but loses him in a chase. Subsequent scenes show the man breaking into the Dover and Birch homes, though it is not revealed what he did there. Keller's wife hears the window open when the man breaks in, but never sees him, and believes Anna had come back. Detective Loki writes down her statement of someone coming in through the window. After a sketch of the man appears on the news, a department store clerk recognizes him and states that he comes in from time to time to examine children's mannequins and buy children's clothing. The man is revealed to be Bob Taylor when the clerk gives Loki the man's license plate to track him down. Loki confronts Taylor at his home and within finds that the walls are covered in drawings of intricate mazes. In a back room, locked crates filled with maze books, snakes, and bloody children's clothing are discovered. Both the Dovers and Birches identify clothing belonging to their children from the crates, and Taylor confesses to killing them. Keller begins to regret his actions towards Alex, but still believes Alex may know where the bodies are. Alex mentions a clue about finding them in a maze. Keller goes to the Jones home to "apologize" to Holly for attacking Alex at the police station, but in reality, he is there to judge her reaction after he mentions he's having dreams of Anna in a maze.

Believing there's a small chance the children might still be alive, Loki beats Taylor during questioning, but Taylor manages to grab Loki's gun from his belt and commits suicide. The blood on the children's clothes is later found to be pig's blood, and after looking back at Keller's wife's statement about the window, Loki realizes Taylor had stolen clothing from the girls' rooms. Taylor is revealed to be a fake killer copying a book titled "The Invisible Man" which prominently features mazes, especially a circular maze (seen in the "O" in the "Prisoners" logo) which Taylor was drawing while in custody. Days later, Joy Birch is found drugged and is hospitalized, but Anna is still missing. In her drugged state, Joy rambles that Keller was there, giving the audience the impression that Keller is somehow in on it. Keller rushes off as Loki chases him. Loki loses him, but heads toward the apartment complex and discovers the imprisoned Alex.

Keller goes to Holly's, realizing that is where Joy had heard him. Holly holds him at gunpoint and forces him to consume the same sedative used to incapacitate Anna and Joy. She reveals that she and her husband had been religious people, like Keller, until their son died of cancer at a young age. They decided to spite God by making children disappear without a trace to turn their parents into demons, as evidenced by what Keller had become. Alex was the first child they abducted and they raised him as their own son. Holly and her husband continued to kill until he ran from home one day. From that point on, she basically stopped as she needed his assistance. However, when Alex gave Anna and Joy a ride for their amusement, she found her chance to do so again. Alex never harmed the girls. Holly dumps Keller (now handcuffed) in a pit hidden under a functional car made to appear broken. This pit is where she had made all the abducted children "disappear". However, she mentions having moved Anna and Joy into the house when the police started looking around, which is what allowed Joy to eventually escape. In the pit, Keller finds his daughter's whistle, and begins to attempt to repent for the demon he had become.

Loki goes to Holly's house to tell her about Alex being found. He enters when she doesn't respond, and realizes that her husband was the dead man in Father Dunn's basement when he sees a picture of him wearing the same necklace as the dead man. He confronts Holly as she injects Anna with cyanide. The two shoot each other; Loki is wounded, but Holly is killed. He rushes Anna to the hospital and she is saved.

Days later, it is revealed that Keller is still missing, and is assumed to be on the run to avoid prison time for his crimes to Alex. Loki promises his wife he'll find him. When searching through the newspaper, it is revealed that Alex is actually the boy who was kidnapped from the mother Loki visited earlier in the film. Loki is later shown with a team excavating Holly's yard for remains, but the cold weather dramatically slows the search. After the team leaves, Loki is left alone, seemingly pondering Keller's whereabouts. He hears a faint whistle, but believes it to be his imagination. However, the whistle keeps blowing and Loki turns around to investigate.

Storyline :-Bio-medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone is a Mission Specialist on her first space shuttle mission, accompanied by veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski, who is commanding his final expedition. During the final spacewalk to service the Hubble Space Telescope, Mission Control in Houston warns Stone and Kowalski that debris from a Russian anti-satellite test has caused a chain reaction of destruction. Shortly afterward, communications from Mission Control are lost, though Stone and Kowalski continue to transmit in hopes that the ground crew can hear them.

High-speed debris damages the space shuttle Explorer and Stone tumbles out of control away from it. Kowalski, who is wearing a thruster pack, navigates to Stone and retrieves her. Tethered together, the two make their way back to Explorer, where they discover it has been damaged far beyond usability, and the rest of the crew are dead. They decide to use the thruster pack to make their way to the International Space Station (ISS), which is in orbit only about 100km away. Kowalski estimates they have 90 minutes before the debris field completes an orbit and threatens them again.

En route to the ISS, the two discuss Stone's life back home and the death of her young daughter in a schoolyard accident. As they approach the ISS, they see that its crew has evacuated in one of the Soyuz modules and that the other's parachute has been accidentally deployed, making it useless for return to Earth. But Kowalski says that it can still be used to travel to the nearby Chinese space station Tiangong to retrieve another module that can take them to Earth. Out of air and maneuvering power, the two try to grab onto the ISS as they fly by. At the last moment, Stone's leg becomes entangled in the Soyuz's parachute cords, but Kowalski realizes that his momentum will carry them both away; over Stone's protests, he detaches himself from the tether so that Stone might survive, and the tension in the cords pulls her back towards the ISS. As Kowalski floats away, he radios additional instructions and encouragement to Stone.

Stone enters the ISS via an airlock but must hastily make her way to the Soyuz to escape a fire. Stone realizes the Soyuz's parachute cables are still tangled with the ISS. She spacewalks outside to release the cables, barely succeeding just as the debris field completes its orbit and destroys the station. Stone aligns the Soyuz with Tiangong, but discovers the craft's thrusters have no fuel. Stone resigns herself to being stranded and begins decompression of the cabin to commit suicide by painless hypoxia. As she begins to lose consciousness, Stone has a hallucination in which Kowalski appears outside, enters the capsule, and tells her to use the Soyuz's landing rockets. Newly motivated to live, Stone restores the flow of oxygen and uses the rockets to navigate towards Tiangong.

Unable to dock the Soyuz with the station, Stone ejects herself via explosive decompression and uses a fire extinguisher as a makeshift thruster to travel to Tiangong. She enters the Shenzhou capsule just as Tiangong starts to break up on the upper edge of the atmosphere, having been knocked from orbit by debris. As she descends to Earth, Stone hears Mission Control over the radio tracking the capsule while rescue teams are being dispatched. The capsule lands in a lake and begins to sink. Stone sheds her spacesuit and swims to shore. She pulls herself out of the water and takes her first shaky steps on land, re-acclimating to Earth's gravity.

 Storyline :-After Flint Lockwood and his friends save the world from the food storm, super-inventor Chester V, the CEO of Live Corp, is tasked to clean the island. He relocates Flint, his friends, and the citizens of Swallow Falls to San Franjose, California. Unbeknownst to Flint, the FLDSMDFR survived the explosion and landed in the center of the island, and Chester is determined to find it. Chester invites Flint, his biggest fan, to work at Live Corp, where he meets Chester's assistant Barb, a talking orangutan with a human brain. Six months later, Flint humiliates himself during a promotion ceremony when his invention "Party-In-A-Box" explodes. Meanwhile, Chester is informed that his search-parties on the island have been attacked by monstrous cheeseburgers which are learning how to swim. Fearing the world's inevitable doom, Chester tasks Flint to find the FLDSMDFR and destroy it once and for all. Despite Chester's demands to keep the mission classified, Flint recruits his girlfriend and meteorologist Sam Sparks, her cameraman Manny, police officer Earl Devereaux, and "Chicken" Brent. Much to Flint's dismay, his father Tim joins the crew and they travel to Swallow Falls on his fishing boat.

When arriving, they notice that a jungle-like environment has overgrown the island. Tim stays behind while Flint and the others investigate, finding a vast habitat of living food animals. Tim, searching for food at his abandoned tackle shop, encounters a family of humanoid pickles and bonds with them by fishing. Chester discovers that Flint allowed his friends to join on the mission and arrives on the island with Barb, chagrined and determined to separate them. After escaping a Tacodile attack, Sam notices that the foodimal was protecting its family, and begins to suspect Chester is up to no good. Flint finds his former lab and invents a device that can track the FLDSMDFR. Sam attempts to convince Flint to spare the foodimals, but Flint is intent on making Chester proud. Sam leaves in anger, along with the others (including his pet monkey Steve). In the jungle, Sam proves that the foodimals mean no harm by taming a Cheespider. Upon realizing Chester's intentions, the group is taken hostage by Live Corp employees.

Flint finds the FLDSMDFR, but notices a family of cute marshmallows and becomes hesitant to destroy the machine. Chester immediately seizes control of the FLDSMDFR and announces his plot to make his updated line of food bars out of the foodimals. A crushed Flint is tossed into the river but rescued by the marshmallows. Flint is taken to his father, who along with the foodimals, help him infiltrate the Live Corp building that is under construction on the island. Flint frees the trapped Foodimals and confronts Chester, who threatens to make food bars out of his friends. Chester makes several holograms of himself to overwhelm Flint, but Flint uses the "Party-In-A-Box" to expose the real Chester. An army of Foodimals arrive and Flint's friends are freed by Barb, having a change of heart. Chester tries to make off with the FLDSMDFR, but is eaten by a Cheespider. With the island safe from Chester, Flint returns the FLDSMDFR to its place and the foodimals continue to live in peace as more are born. Flint fishes with his father for the first time, finding it enjoyable.

During a post-credits scene, Barb awkwardly tries to ask a distracted Steve on a date.
